Studs and Duds Week 2!

logo

Another week in fantasy to get ready for. Let’s take a look at who we should start and who we should sit in this week’s Studs/Duds.

STUDS

QB- If you have Pitt Steelers Ben Roethlisberger this is the week to start him. You may be dissapointed in last weeks performance by Big Ben, he didn’t do so good against the Ravens, but I think he will come back this week playing the Seattle Seahawks.

RB Arizona Cardinal Beanie Wells -is off to a good start for fantasy owners. He was a good late pick up and was in the top 6 of the most points scored by a RB last week in fantasy. This week he plays the Redskins and I think he will do a even better job running all over them.

WRNY Giants Mario Manningham -didn’t have the best first game, but I think the Giants and Eli Manning are in need of a big win, and might do that against a beat up Rams team. Also Hakeen Nicks might be out for a hurt knee which will give Manningham a better chance of getting some passes.

TE Carolina Panthers Greg Olson- He was used a lot in last weeks game, and I think this week Cam  Newton is going to be looking for all his options against the Packers.

Duds

QB Minnesota Vikings Donovan Mcnabb- I have him as my backup, but I don’t know if he should ever start as anyone’s QB this season. He needs to retire, and that is all I have to say about that.

RB Carolina Panthers DeAngelo Williams- Another veteran that is showing his age. Williams did a poor job last week, and this week against the Green Bay Packers see a repeat performance from last week.

WR New England Patriots Chad Ochocinc0- Only playing 18 out of the 88 offensive plays for the Patriots last week, there is no need to keep him in your roster. The guy needs to give up on football and keep with his reality shows and Twitter.

TE Brett Celek Philadelphia Eagles- OMG I am picking an Eagles player! I had Celek on my fantasy team last year and he would have a good game then a terrible game. He is OK for the Eagles, but as a fantasy player I just wouldn’t start him this week.

If you need any help on Studs/Duds for your fantasy team let me know!

About Beth

Beth was born an Eagles fan.  Even though she grew up most of her life in Maryland, her parents were both from Philadelphia and her father is a diehard Eagles fan/season ticket holder and passed his love for the Eagles to his childern.  Now I will pass it on to my boys!

The best game she went to in 2004 when the Eagles were in the Super Bowl in Jackonsville Florida. Even though they lost, it was one of the best events she has ever attended. Next to going to the Oprah show.

Growing up she really only knew about the Eagles and the NFC East. Once she started playing fantasy football, it gave her so much more knowledge on all the players in the NFL. It also made all the games so much more fun to watch on Sundays.

Favorite Player Growing Up: Randall Cunningham

Player She Would Like to Spend an Hour With:  Drew Brees

Best Fantasy Advice She Can Offer to You:  When reading about the players that you are wanting to draft, look at your players contracts agreements.
