Week 2 is complete and I’m feeling good! I completed 3 of the 6 Gunnar workouts at home and the other 3 days consisted of running on the treadmill at the gym. I did 1 minute sprints and 30 seconds of walking and continued until 40 minutes was up. Last week I hoped to move from 8 pound weights to 10 and I did! I feel my strength building already.
According to my summary for the week, my daily average for calories was 1258. This is good because I don’t tend to eat so well on the weekends. It’s so hard to stay away from Skinny Girl margarita’s and red wine! I am loving the daily diary! It helps to control what you eat when you can see how many calories you are consuming. It also told me half of my nutrients coming in were carbs- not a shocker there! Ha, I need to eat more protein! I will have to check out Gunnar’s meal plan for the week.
You are supposed to weigh yourself each week but I don’t have a scale! Can I go to Bed, Bath and Beyond and weigh myself there? Ha, I kid. I will have to check and see if my gym has one.
Week 3 is off to a good start. Hopefully it will end well even though I will be attending the Orioles game Saturday and my niece’s birthday party on Sunday. How am I going avoid cold beers at Pickles, ball park food and cake?!? Check in next week to see how things go!
